The project

In Thiès, access to water remains the first barrier to the yield of small farms. With solar irrigation, we equip 200 holdings with self-powered pumps, at no fuel cost, to triple dry-season harvests.

The funds pay for the pumps, the training of the women farmers and a community maintenance fund. Each stage is released by milestone, with proof of installation and commissioning.
