AfricArena is not funding but a door. The circuit runs several regional summits through the year before a Grand Summit in December in Cape Town, each bringing together investment funds, corporates and startups looking to raise.
The format is organised matchmaking rather than a competition. Selected startups pitch to an investor audience, join working sessions and leave with qualified contacts. For a company already in market and seeking seed or Series A, it is a shortcut to conversations that would take months to secure alone.
