IDMP/APFM Competition for Youth-Led Projects 2026-2027
The Integrated Drought Management Programme and the Associated Programme on Flood Management, run under the World Meteorological Organization, fund youth-led projects addressing floods and droughts.
Grants reach CHF 3,000. The amount is modest, but it targets precisely the local initiatives large donors do not fund: community early-warning systems, awareness work, water conservation techniques, adaptation of farming practices.
Young people are among those most exposed to these events, and among the least represented in decision-making. The competition looks for projects rooted in an identified community. Deadline: 31 August 2026.
