Orange Social Venture Prize
Offered by Orange
The Orange Social Venture Prize for Africa, known as POESAM, rewards projects that answer a social need through digital technology: health, agriculture, education, energy access, financial inclusion.
The competition runs in two stages. A national phase first, in each country where Orange operates, then an international Grand Prize of €25,000, €15,000 and €10,000 for the top three. An International Women Entrepreneur Prize of €20,000 is added, reserved for women-led projects.
Winners get access to Orange Digital Centers for an incubation phase. The application window usually falls between April and May, and the national phase is best prepared by approaching your country's Orange subsidiary early.
