She Leads Africa is aimed exclusively at African women entrepreneurs, through a mix of competitions, acceleration programmes and training content.
The organisation was built on a simple observation: women founders receive a very small share of the venture capital raised on the continent, and the gap is not explained by project quality. Its programmes therefore target visibility and network as much as direct funding.
Formats vary from year to year, between funded competitions, acceleration cohorts and events. Better to follow the organisation's announcements than to wait for a fixed deadline, since openings are occasional.
